"Path of a Possum"

"Path of a Possum" began with the memory of a dream I had when I was seven, of stealing robin's eggs and the robin biting me. This led to other memories, largely of watching television. I reflected on how very powerful awareness of political situation seeps into a child's consciousness from the most innocent of settings, and how prejudice and true vision fight with each other dialectically.
